Job summary

Q Center in Illinois is seeking a Banquet Set-up Houseperson to handle the setup, refresh, tear down and maintenance of all meeting spaces.

The schedule is as needed, evenings and weekends, with a starting rate of $18/hour. Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred and a High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. You will work with banquet staff to ensure clean, well-equipped spaces and timely turnover between events to deliver thoughtful guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the correct and timely set up of all Banquet Event Order functions; including Audio Visual set up.
• Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space and storage areas.
• Breakdown after completion of functions and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly.
• Transport and store tables, chairs and other equipment.
• Refresh meeting rooms as needed.

Education
