Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a banquet porter to support event setups and breakdowns, manage banquet equipment and related supplies, and deliver items to event spaces in a fast, safe manner.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and prior banquet porter experience preferred; forklift certification is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent is required, and applicants must be able to read English.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior experience as a banquet porter preferred.
• Read English and comprehend requirements for event setup and teardown.
• Must be able to stand/walk for full shift and lift up to 75 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet equipment according to the BEO and break down at event end.
• Deliver supplies from the banquet bar porter in a timely manner.
• Store and maintain all banquet equipment and related items.
• Refresh meeting rooms as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment within area of responsibility.
