Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an Event Set-Up Houseperson in Orlando to assist with setting up and breaking down meeting spaces, ensuring lounges and public areas are maintained, and supporting guest experiences. The role requires communication with colleagues, participants, and partners and involves daily service of lounges and refreshments.

The position emphasizes flexible daytime, evening, and weekend availability, and offers exposure to a range of Hyatt amenities and event operations.

Qualifications

• A true desire to deliver exceptional service while in maintaining participant meeting rooms, lounges and public areas.
• Ability to professionally communicate with facility colleagues, participants, and business partners
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight for the duration of shift
• Ability to walk and stand for duration of shift
• Full/open schedule availability required including day-time, evenings and weekends, pending business levels

Responsibilities

• Set up, break down and refresh meeting and event space with tables, chairs, etc.
• Communicate with colleagues, participants and business partners
• Service sleeping room floor lounges daily, including restocking, cleaning and tracking consumption of drinks and snacks
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing needs for meeting spaces and lounges
• Distribute training materials as needed
