$24-27/hr.

Job Summary

The Event Service Technician assists with floor operations, including setup, strike, and technology management in a hotel or hospitality setting. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service to guests and clients. Business hours vary; extended hours and weekends are required. Less than 5% travel outside the assigned region is anticipated.

Essential Functions
  1. Ensure all event setups and strikes adhere to Company SOPs.
  2. Greet guests/clients and provide clear equipment operation instructions.
  3. Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure successful events.
  4. Follow through on all client requests.
  5. Identify opportunities to enhance client events.
  6. Maintain accurate event information in company systems.
  7. Review invoices with clients and obtain signatures.
  8. Comply with security and safety measures; monitor inventory and equipment for theft or damage.
  9. Ensure all inventory is functional and in good condition.
  10. Report any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment immediately.
  11. Keep company areas clean, organized, and up to standards.
  12. Continuously improve technical skills in audio, video, staging, and networking.
  13. Follow all company policies and procedures.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in audio-visual or hospitality industry preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and networking.
