Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services in Norfolk, VA is hiring part-time Janitorial Event Staff to join a crowd-management team at venues like sports arenas, concerts, and conventions. This role offers weekly pay, flexible shifts in evenings and weekends, and no experience is required.

You’ll help with ushering guests, collecting tickets, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting superb guest service. The position is on-site in Norfolk with opportunities for additional hours and training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test may be required and Driver’s Record check may be needed.
• Be professional, articulate and able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Directs entry, may scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, and direct traffic.
• Demonstrates understanding of policies and regulations of venues, facilities and events.
• Greets guests warmly and thanks them as they complete their encounter.
• Provides guests with directions and suggestions to enhance their experience.
