Job description

Overview

The Events Server is responsible for the set-up, execution, and breakdown of events. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, adaptable, and able to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment. We ask our team members to maintain excellent attendance and availability to work events as scheduled per business needs.

This role pays an hourly wage of $30.00.

Responsibilities
  • Commitment to the schedule is expected.
  • Demonstrate excellence in guest service, interactions with co-workers, and compliance with uniform and grooming standards.
  • Serve passed foods, beverages, or plated meals to guests, replenish food stations or bars, and attend to food stations, bars, buffets, or coat check with comprehensive knowledge of all items.
  • Assist in unloading and loading equipment, products, or goods to and from event venues, capable of handling up to 50 pounds of weight.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in both event space and back-of-house areas.
  • Uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards across all areas.
  • Perform any standard duties or tasks assigned related to service setup, execution, and breakdown.
Qualifications
  • One or more years of experience as a waiter in a fine dining, large-scale dining facility, or similar field preferred.
  • Committed to offering exceptional hospitality.
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to multitask.
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours.
  • Desire to learn and grow in a professional working environment.
