Job summary

Hightop Hospitality is seeking an Event Server for our year-round catering division in the Twin Cities area, including Saint Paul, MN. This role offers a consistent schedule across weekdays and weekends with 8-10 hour shifts and tip-eligible earnings.

You will set up and serve at events from weddings to corporate gatherings, create appealing displays, maintain guest service standards, and support teardown. A reliable team player with strong communication will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 18+ preferred.
• 1+ years of catering experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Event Execution.
• Provide friendly and attentive guest service.
• Assist with loading/unloading inventory and supplies at commissary kitchen.
• Assist with event setup (tables, décor, buffets, stations).
• Serve meals, replenish buffets, and pass appetizers.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow direction from event leads.
• Support clearing, event teardown and cleanup.
• Drive catering vehicles.

You'll bring events to life by creating beautiful food displays, serving exceptional cuisine, and connecting with guests. From elegant weddings to high-energy corporate events across the Twin Cities metro, no two shifts are the same - each one offers a new environment, team, and experience.

About Us

Hightop Hospitality staffs four catering brands: The Deco Catering, Kafe 421, Sterling Catering, and Green Mill Catering. We work in a wide variety of venues across the Twin Cities metro, so no two events are the same! We value teamwork, adaptability, and creating great guest experiences.

SCHEDULE

We operate a wide range of events throughout the year, with peak activity occurring from May through mid-October.

The Weekend Sprint: Consistency on Fridays and Saturdays is a must for our peak wedding season.

The Mid-Week Foundation: We are specifically looking for candidates with availability during the Monday-Thursday window to support our corporate and boutique social events.

What You'll Do
