Hermitage Country Club is seeking polished, reliable Event Servers for weddings, private events, and club functions in Manakin-Sabot, VA. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and includes employee meals and a uniform shirt.

Part-time position with opportunities to grow within a respected private club. Flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, catering, or restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and excellent customer service attitude.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces, including tables, linens, place settings, and service stations.
• Provide attentive food and beverage service during events, including plated meals, buffets, and passed hors d'oeuvres.
• Maintain a clean and organized event space throughout service.
• Follow event timelines and coordinate with banquet captains and kitchen staff.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally.
• Adhere to all service standards, safety guidelines, and club policies.
• Assist with post-event cleanup and resetting for future functions.

Event Servers play a vital role in ensuring each event is executed flawlessly and exceeds member and guest expectations.
