Job summary

The Barn Resort is seeking energetic Event Servers to help with setup, service, and celebrations from start to finish. You’ll set up spaces, serve meals and beverages, greet guests, and work with the Sales team to ensure a seamless event experience.

This role offers flexible weekend and weekday shifts, competitive hourly pay based on experience, and opportunities to grow within a fun, supportive team at The Barn Resort Gettysburg.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and ready to work.
• Team player who enjoys fast-paced environments.
• Able to stand for 8-12 hours and lift up to 25 lbs.
• 18+ with reliable transportation.
• Ramp Certification or willing to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces, from tables to beverage & food stations.
• Be creative and detail oriented while setting up for events while also following the guidance of the Sales team.
• Deliver service with a smile - passing appetizers, serving meals, pouring coffee, and cutting cake.
• Keep things running smoothly from start to finish, including clean-up & reset.
• Greet guests and ensure they feel welcomed and cared for throughout the event.
• Communicate with the kitchen and bar staff to keep service seamless and on time.
• Assist with stocking and replenishing food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests with a positive attitude.
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance to represent The Barn Resort brand.
• Support your teammates - jump in wherever help is needed to make the event a success.
