The Barn Resort in Gettysburg, United States, is seeking energetic Event Servers to join our events team. You’ll help with setup, service, and celebrations from start to finish, delivering friendly, polished service at weddings, parties, and community events.

We offer flexible weekend and weekday shifts, competitive hourly pay based on experience, and opportunities to grow and cross-train in other departments within a fun, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced event service preferred.
• Able to stand for 8–12 hours and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be 18+ with reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license or state ID and authorization to work in the USA.
• Ramp Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsabilités

• Set up event spaces, from tables to beverage and food stations.
• Deliver service with a smile—passing appetizers, serving meals, and pouring coffee.
• Assist with stocking and replenishing food, beverages, and supplies.
• Greet guests, ensure they feel welcomed, and keep service on time.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to maintain smooth operations.

What You’ll Do

• Set up event spaces, from tables to beverage & food stations
• Be creative and detail oriented while setting up for events while also following the guidance of the Sales team
• Deliver service with a smile—passing appetizers, serving meals, pouring coffee, and cutting cake
• Keep things running smoothly from start to finish, including clean-up & reset
• Greet guests and ensure they feel welcomed and cared for throughout the event
• Communicate with the kitchen and bar staff to keep service seamless and on time
• Assist with stocking and replenishing food, beverages, and supplies as needed
• Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests with a positive attitude
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance to represent The Barn Resort brand
• Support your teammates—jump in wherever help is needed to make the event a success
