JOB SUMMARY

SOCIAL EVENTS SERVER JOB DESCRIPTION:

Social Event Leads are serving captains responsible for off-premise events. They work closely with all Canyon Catering Social Event Staff, including chefs, bartenders, and servers. Social Event Leads must delegate tasks effectively and have experience in executing events.

SOCIAL EVENT LEAD JOB DUTIES:

1. Delegate duties to event staff
2. Assist in unloading equipment and food from trucks
3. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
4. Place equipment and food in designated areas of the event
5. Set up tables, buffets, and stations
6. Serve guests at each table
7. Refill beverages as needed
8. Clear plates and flatware after each course
9. Answer guest questions professionally
10. Clean up and break down the event site
11. Load equipment onto Canyon Vehicles

SOCIAL EVENT LEAD SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Customer Service: Excellent listening and speaking skills are essential. A friendly, courteous, and relaxed demeanor helps create a positive dining experience.
• Stamina: Ability to stay on your feet, move quickly, and carry large trays during busy events.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other servers and kitchen staff.
