Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment in San Francisco is seeking a venue security professional to assist guests, maintain public safety, control access, and prevent unauthorized items from entering the venue. You will supervise security staff, conduct searches, check tickets, assist guests, and support medical staff.

The role requires high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, and prior security or law enforcement experience; PSO cert or CA Guard Card preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
Experience supervising a team in a group effort.
Live event security/Law Enforcement experience preferred.
Knowledge of security operations and safety practices in a business environment.
Ability to make professional, tactful decisions with good communication.

Responsibilities

Assist Security Manager to recruit, interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline staff.
Direct security staff to implement the security plan ensuring safety and efficiency.
Interact with guests in a friendly, courteous manner and resolve issues.
Circulate among guests to preserve safety and protect property.
Conduct searches of guests and bags to prevent weapons or prohibited items.
Check tickets and assist guests with seating and venue amenities.
Assist medics and complete incident reports.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and maintain professionalism.
