Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a security professional to maintain safety and security of staff, artists, vendors and guests, and to create a positive, uplifting venue experience. The role involves ensuring guest safety, incident prevention, crowd management, and enforcing venue policies.

You will check IDs for under-30 patrons drinking, inspect for weapons, assist in emergency evacuations, and set up areas before opening.

Qualifications

• Current Guard Card or PSO Card required.
• Proof of Completion – 8 or 16 hour certification course.
• Proof of completion – 2 hour BSIS annual recertification course if guard card is >1 year old.
• Ability to work late hours and flexible schedule.
• 3 years of work experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security of staff, artists, vendors and guests.
• Prevent and resolve altercations among guests.
• Lead guests and staff in emergency evacuation procedures.
• Check IDs for guests under 30 drinking alcohol.
• Inspect guests with metal detectors or pat-downs to prevent weapons.
• Enforce house policy on photos/videos/recording devices.
• Communicate clearly via radios and signals.
• Set up area before opening and keep venue clean and safe.
• Occasionally work special events.
