Boise Centre, Idaho’s premier venue for events, is seeking part-time Security Staff to join our safety-focused team. You will help ensure the security of guests, employees, and the venue during events, and you’ll respond quickly to incidents while coordinating with other departments to keep operations smooth.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and a commitment to professional growth in a vibrant workplace.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in event security or crowd management.
• Must be at least 19 years old due to alcohol-related responsibilities.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security and safety of guests, employees, and the venue during events.
• Quickly and efficiently respond to security incidents and emergencies.
• Coordinate with other departments to support smooth event operations.
• Accurately document incidents and manage traffic in service areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Monitor safety systems and equipment, offering assistance as necessary.
• Engage in continuous learning through training and professional organizations.
• Utilize radio communication effectively for operational needs.
• Undertake additional duties as required.
