Job summary

AEG Presents is seeking an Access Control professional to safeguard Deluxx Fluxx events at Webster Hall in New York. You will patrol, observe, and document incidents, acting as the first point of contact for security issues and assisting with guest services.

The role emphasizes strong communication, swift decision making, and teamwork to keep attendees safe. The position requires standing for long periods, working nights and weekends, and obtaining or maintaining a security license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to stand long hours and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor venue areas on foot and report unusual activity.
• Control entry points and verify proper access for staff and guests.
• Escort artists, VIPs and staff to prevent disruption or harm.
• Respond to alarms and participate in fire safety procedures.
• Provide basic medical support and coordinate EMT when needed.
• Assist guests with directions, information and escorts.
• Screen and verify IDs and credentials at entry points.
• Log incidents and activity accurately for records.
