Job summary

AX9 Security, Inc. seeks Event Security and Event Staff for the upcoming event season in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will circulate among guests, assist attendees, enforce venue rules, and help keep crowds safe at concerts, sporting events, and trade shows.

Ideal candidates have customer service and teamwork skills, strong communication, and can stand and walk for long periods. A background check is required; Event Security requires a guard card, while Event Staff does not.

Qualifications

• A valid guard card is required for Event Security. Event Staff will not need this license.
• Customer service experience required.
• Retail or greeter experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform duties in a professional manner.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Teamwork skills.
• Candidates must pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety and provide assistance as needed.
• Welcome guests at events with a positive and friendly demeanor.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations.
• Escalate issues as needed to event supervisors.
• Positions require constant walking, climbing stairs, sitting, but is not limited to these functions.
