No Florida D license is required for this role, though D-licensed positions are preferred when available. Candidates must be able to pass background and drug screenings and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and security policies, programs, and procedures; manage crisis situations effectively.

Event Security Guard – Non D-Licensed

Job Summary

FTL War Memorial and the Florida Panthers are hiring personable, attentive individuals looking for a part-time, event-based role full of excitement. Our Event Security team members play a pivotal role in creating a safe environment for our guests from the moment they enter the venue until the moment they depart.

This role does not require a Florida D Security License. Please note that D-Licensed positions are preferred and non D-Licensed positions are limited based on events.

Work Environment

This position works in a venue where the noise level is generally high, crowd traffic is heavy, and temperatures are variable — often cold. Lights are bright or dark with occasional exposure to flashing lights and pyrotechnics.

Physical Demands

• Pushing, pulling, and lifting objects up to 30 pounds

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time, event-based position. Hours of work are based on the event schedule and are primarily evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
