As an Event Security Officer, you will play a critical role in upholding our reputation by ensuring the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional presence to positively impact the event, meeting client and company standards.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized activities and ensure safety.
• Monitor access points, conduct bag checks, perform entry screenings, and stay vigilant for suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical issues, disturbances, or unauthorized entries.
• Coordinate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency services to manage security efforts.
• Assist attendees, answer questions, and provide directions to deliver excellent customer service.
• Report security incidents to supervisors, law enforcement, or medical personnel.
• Document relevant activities and observations, submitting reports to leadership.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure professionalism and security effectiveness.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old (age requirements may vary).
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; some college is preferred.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is a plus.
• Strong physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with diverse individuals.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess or be willing to obtain a valid security license as required.
