Job summary

NOLA Protection Group in Kenner, LA, is seeking part-time Event Security staff for Pontchartrain Center. You will join a team handling entry screening and guest assistance during events at the venue.

No experience is required, but preferred; candidates must pass a background check, be 18+, and maintain a professional appearance. Flexible days/nights/weekends/holidays and reliable transportation are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a Security Officer with LSBPSE, or eligible for registration.
• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background and fingerprint check with Louisiana State Police.
• Complete 16 hours of necessary classroom training.
• Maintain good physical condition for walking or standing for extended periods.
• Work in various environments and seasons; professional appearance.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Open availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or valid photo ID; reliable transportation.
• Experience is not required, but preferred.

• Check Point SecurityScreening ofguests during entry via bag searching, hand wand or metal detectors
• Greet Guest as theyEnter Venue
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must either be registered as a Security Officer with LSBPSE, or be able to meet requirements for registration, including:
• Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
