Position Summary

The Event Project Specialist is the driving force behind the successful execution of brand activations at major third-party and owned events. This role is responsible for overseeing every aspect of event production, from conceptualization and planning to onsite management and post-event evaluation. The Event Project Specialist ensures that all activities align with brand objectives, maintain high-quality standards, and are delivered on time and within budget. This dynamic position requires exceptional organizational skills, creative problem-solving, and a passion for delivering impactful event experiences.

Location/Region:Houston, TX (Hybrid)

Principal Duties

• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize event themes, goals, and activations that align with brand objectives.
• Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Manage all aspects of event preparation, such as coordinating with vendors, securing booth spaces, organizing promotional materials, and ensuring logistical needs are met.
• Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal teams to ensure all logistical elements are seamlessly managed.
• Ensure events are effectively integrated into overall marketing campaigns to maximize impact and audience engagement.
• Collect and analyze event data, attendee feedback, and performance metrics to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
• Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors and service providers to deliver high-quality results within budget.
• Work closely with sales, product, and leadership teams to align events with broader business objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in event marketing, with a focus on consumer-facing brands and large-scale national campaigns.
• Strong understanding of retail marketing and promotional strategies.
• Passion for sports, fitness, and the active lifestyle industry.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

• Able and willing to travel (Travel up to 40%)
• Legally authorized to work in the USA
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times
