About Boxbar Tech

Boxbar Tech is an award-winning, high-growth technology company transforming the way drinks are served across events, venues, stadiums, arenas and hospitality environments around the world.

We have developed automated self-service beverage technology designed to increase service speed, reduce lines, improve quality, support operational efficiency and enhance the guest experience. Our technology is already being used across major events, venues, festivals, sports clubs and hospitality organizations, and we are now expanding our US event operations.

We operate at the intersection of technology, hospitality, live events, operations and hardware. We design, build, deploy and support physical technology in live environments where reliability, speed and customer experience really matter. This reflects the wider Boxbar job specification structure and company positioning already used across UK hiring.

About the Role

We are looking for reliable, hands-on and professional Event Operations Leads to support Boxbar at live events across the United States.

In this role, you will help manage Boxbar units and bar areas on site, making sure our technology is set up correctly, operating smoothly and represented to a high standard throughout the event. You will support venue teams, assist with basic troubleshooting, help keep the area clean and organized, and communicate clearly with the Boxbar team before, during and after each event.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in live events, hospitality, stadiums, arenas, festivals, beverage operations, brand activation, field operations or customer‑facing event work.

Full training will be provided, so you do not need to know our technology from day one. What matters most is that you are dependable, calm under pressure, comfortable working in busy live environments and willing to get stuck in.

Key Responsibilities

As an Event Operations Lead, you will:

  • Support the setup, operation and breakdown of Boxbar units at live events.
  • Ensure Boxbar units and bar areas are clean, organized, stocked and ready for service.
  • Assist with basic technical checks and first‑line troubleshooting during events.
  • Train and support venue staff on how to use Boxbar equipment correctly.
  • Act as a professional on‑site representative for Boxbar.
  • Communicate clearly with venue teams, event partners and Boxbar management.
  • Monitor the performance of the units during the event and escalate issues quickly.
  • Support customer service and guest experience where required.
  • Help maintain safe, tidy and compliant working areas throughout the event.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, equipment movement and post‑event clean down.
  • Complete simple post‑event reports and feedback forms.
  • Follow all Boxbar operating procedures, venue policies and health and safety requirements.
  • Support wider event delivery activity where needed.
About You

We are looking for people who are:

  • Reliable, punctual and professional.
  • Confident working in busy, high‑pressure live event environments.
  • Practical, hands‑on and comfortable with physical work.
  • Calm, solution‑focused and able to think clearly when things change quickly.
  • Comfortable speaking with venue teams, bar teams, clients and customers.
  • Able to follow processes and elevate issues when needed.
  • Flexible around evenings, weekends, holidays and event schedules.
  • Comfortable working on your feet for long periods.
  • Interested in events, hospitality, sport, music, venues, technology or beverage service.
  • Motivated by being part of a fast‑growing international technology company.
Experience We’d Love to See

You do not need to tick every box, but experience in any of the following would be useful:

  • Live events, festivals, stadiums, arenas or large venues.
  • Bar operations, beverage service, hospitality or catering.
  • Event supervision, team leading or shift leadership.
  • Brand ambassador, promotional or field marketing work.
  • Field operations, installations or hands‑on technical support.
  • Customer service in fast‑paced environments.
  • Draft beer, beverage dispense, cellar or bar equipment experience.
  • Working with technology, hardware or operational equipment.
  • Completing event reports, handover notes or shift summaries.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to work event‑based shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to travel to event sites as required.
  • Must be comfortable with physical work, including standing for long periods, lifting, moving equipment and supporting setup/breakdown.
  • Must be able to follow venue rules, safety procedures and Boxbar operating standards.
  • Access to reliable transportation is preferred.
  • Alcohol service certification may be required depending on the state, venue and event.
