Amazon is seeking an experienced Event Marketing Manager to drive event marketing programs for their China Advertising team. This role involves planning, executing, and evaluating events that enhance advertising performance. Ideal candidates have a passion for marketing and e-commerce, with a solid background in integrated marketing strategies.

In 2017, we stood up a team in China to drive the awareness, activation, and continued success of China-based sellers advertising in marketplaces worldwide (North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific) via marketing channels, seller education, and product marketing. We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, Event Marketing Manager to drive event marketing programs for Amazon Advertising China. The Event Marketing Manager will be accountable for event planning, execution and event content creation, with programmatic approach to serve the dynamic event needs. This person will also work internally in a cross-functional manner, collaborating with teams across Amazon Advertising to identify the audience needs and turning it into scalable marketing programs through suitable channels. Lastly, the Event Marketing Manager will own testing and measurement, optimizing for what drives performance and reporting the impact of event marketing on the business growth.
Key job responsibilities
· Lead end-to-end event execution, from conceptualization to post-event analysis, create hybrid and event solutions based on customer obsession
· Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, lead cross-functional team meetings and maintain clear communication channels
· Establish KPIs and metrics for measuring event success, create and implement data collection methods for event analysis with comprehensive post-event reports
- 5+ years of experience in integrated marketing, brand marketing, or event marketing with consistent marketing experience in past 3 years
- Superior external and internal presentation skill
- Excel in marketing strategic planning, execution and result measuring
- Superior verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated by experience in both Chinese and English
- Bachelor degree and proven work experience in e-commerce, marketing, or digital sector
- MBA or other related Master's degree
- Passion for e-commerce and/or integrated marketing and a track record of delivering outstanding results
- Proven ability to think strategically and execute methodically
- Demonstrated high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for inventing and optimizing on behalf of customers
