Job description

99 Exposure, a sales and development firm in Cincinnati, is hiring an Event Marketing Assistant who wants more than just a job; they want a mission. The Event Marketing Assistant works in person with our nonprofit partners to help them raise awareness, strengthen their brand presence, and generate support through community outreach. Our charity mission needs messengers. You're about to become one.

As an Event Marketing Assistant, your training helps you identify the core values that drive our charity initiatives: compassion, justice, community, and progress. The Event Marketing Assistant will then match these values to the clients you meet at events, aligning their personal beliefs with causes that resonate, strengthening the nonprofit's brand, and closing sales of commitment through shared conviction.

Responsibilities of the Event Marketing Associate
  • Serve as a community advocate by explaining how charity partners provide reliable aid that supports multiple causes while strengthening overall brand awareness.
  • Boost sales results through proactive outreach, identifying clients most likely to value the social impact and brand mission behind supporting charity initiatives.
  • Create positive first impressions by approaching interactions with empathy, ensuring every discussion about giving supports a positive brand experience.
  • Develop outreach sales expertise by learning from experienced Event Marketing Assistant team members and applying proven sales techniques.
  • Streamline client engagement by pre-qualifying interests and ensuring smooth enrollment for charity programs and brand initiatives.
  • Support brand growth through community outreach efforts that increase awareness and visibility for nonprofit partners.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence by participating in training workshops that emphasize ethical practices, donor satisfaction, long‑term trust, and positive brand representation.
Qualifications of the Event Marketing Associate
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Genuine passion for sales, customer service, marketing, or brand representation is a plus.
  • Motivated by the impact of fundraising, with a drive to build trust and generate sales.
  • Collaborative spirit, contributing to team success and supporting sales objectives.
  • Skilled at tailoring recommendations based on attentive listening and client needs.
  • Interest in developing professional communication, sales, and brand awareness skills as an Event Marketing Assistant.
