Compensation Range: $35 - 42 per hour

Our client in the tech industry is looking for an Event Manager to join their Brand team. You will lead the end-to-end planning and on-site execution for key industry trade shows and large-scale brand activations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage complex logistics while elevating our presence on-site at events.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can operate with limited guidance, highly flexible and adaptable to the fast-paced nature of on-site event work, and a collaborative teammate with a sense of humor and a strong sense of accountability.

Duration: 3-6 months with potential to convert.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Event Execution : Lead planning and execution for Tier 2 events.
• Support Channel Team Events: Support Tier 3 events through managing and maintaining event giveaway and display repository and providing guidance to teams managing those events.
• On-Site Leadership : Attend and manage Tier 2 events to ensure a consistent brand experience, including supervising booth setups, managing staff, and handling real-time troubleshooting.
• Staff Preparation & Training : Create event briefs and run staff training sessions to ensure the team is aligned with messaging and event plans.
• Logistics & Budgeting : Manage shipping, display materials, contract negotiation support, and budget tracking for each event.
• Reporting & ROI : Oversee on-site lead collection and post-event reporting and improving overall channel performance.

Qualifications

• 5-7 Years of Experience: Proven background in tradeshow and event management; experience with small business or tech audiences is a plus.
• Experience with Large-Scale Events: Familiarity managing large events (booths 20x20+, thought leadership, and cross-functional teams).
• Exceptional Organization: Ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while maintaining extreme attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders across Brand, Comms, and Sales teams.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to assist with event setup/teardown, including lifting boxes and assembling smaller displays.
