How You'll Make an Impact:

As an Event Manager, you will:

  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute events, conferences, and tradeshows from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives
  • Create innovative event concepts to enhance the ROI of events
  • Prepare Budgets, obtain approvals, and ensure adherence
  • Track and report back the ROI of all events
  • Ensure a strong end-to-end lead process is in place and adhered to for various events
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
  • Execute promotional activities around the event, including Social Media, and contribute to the creation of event-related content
  • Manage event inventory, including swag, booth displays, and marketing collateral for global events. Coordinate shipping of event materials for all events globally
  • Coordinate travel and lodging for participants as needed
  • Actively arrange Cloudbeds speaking engagements and sponsorship opportunities related to industry events and industry associations
  • Research new opportunities and competitors' engagement concerning conferences, exhibits, associations, and events, and make recommendations to improve Cloudbeds' engagement
  • Strengthen relationships with our industry partners.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • 3+ years of experience in organizing trade shows, conferences, and events is required
  • University Degree in Events, Public Relations, Communication, Hospitality or a similar area of study preferred.
