The Event Manager Apprenticeship is our “fast track” development program to teach and train aspiring large scale Event Managers. Those in the program are put through a rigorous training procedure learning all aspects of event management including preparation for the event, management of resources and supplies, leading our event staff in successful execution, and client relations. We need dedicated individuals who have a particular interest in working in large and very upscale catering events.

What you will be doing:

Event Execution:

• Prioritize hands-on experience in executing events of various sizes and types
• Learn to manage on-the-spot challenges with a focus on delivering seamless events

Venue Management:

• Emphasize customer service in overseeing venue logistics, setup, and breakdown
• Collaborate with Venue Sales Associates to enhance the overall guest experience

Full Service Events:

• Execute full service events, ensuring equipment, food quality and appearance, and staffing meet client expectations
• Interpret vendor contracts to enhance customer satisfaction

Client Relations:

• Shadow experienced Event Managers/Leads to observe and actively participate in client interactions
• Engage in real-time communication to address client needs and provide excellent service.

Customer Satisfaction:

• Proactively identify and resolve issues during events to maintain high customer satisfaction
• Develop strategies to ensure a positive customer experience throughout the event execution

Timeline Management:

• Focus on real-time decision-making and task prioritization during events
• Implement time management skills to ensure the seamless execution of all aspects
