Job summary

Legends Global in Wilmington, NC is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of china, glassware and utensils in a high-energy kitchen environment. You will operate dish machines, hand wash where needed, and keep the dish area, kitchen, and remote areas clean and sanitary.

Flexible hours including nights and weekends are required. Prior kitchen experience and knowledge of health codes help ensure safety standards are met in a fast-paced event setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3 months' related experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of basic food service, health codes and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils; place in racks and run through the dish machine.
• Stack and store clean items, deliver to storage areas.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
• Dispose of trash and maintain clean waste bins.
• Sweep and mop floors; keep kitchen areas safe and dry.
