Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen during events at USC Athletics venues. You will wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring sanitation standards are met and daily operations run smoothly.

Hourly rate is $18.78 per hour, with union-negotiated benefits. Applicants should be able to work in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment and have or be willing to obtain a food-handling certificate where required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in a clear, professional manner with staff and guests.
• Prior kitchen experience preferred.
• Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish room and kitchen work areas.
• Empty trash and recycling, and keep waste areas clean.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors during the shift.
• Clean and sanitize sinks, counters, shelves, and food prep areas.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed.
• Restock clean dishes, cookware, and utensils in designated storage areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Support kitchen staff with general cleaning and other duties as assigned.
