Job summary

CityCruisesUS is seeking a Cook to prepare food for events, from cutting to plating, while keeping stations safe and sanitary. You will assist with deliveries and maintain clean, organized kitchens.

The role requires attention to safety, ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and good communication with coworkers and guests. Experience in a fast-paced food service environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience preferred.
• Maintain safe and sanitary workstations.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and on holidays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items using prep lists and standard recipes.
• Follow proper food handling procedures.
• Rotate food to assure top quality and freshness.
• Store leftovers according to company standards.
• Keep refrigerators and work areas clean and orderly.
• Clean and sanitize stations and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment per food safety rules.
• Follow safety policies and report accidents.
• Additional duties as assigned.
