Job summary

EventWorks LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Quest Event Installer to load and unload gear, and to set and strike drape, furniture, and hardware at venues. You will join a crew of installers to deliver professional event setups.

The role offers 0-40+ hours per week depending on volume, with a focus on reliability, customer service, and teamwork, plus strong work ethic on site and punctuality. Candidates should be able to lift and move equipment and maintain a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service-related job experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to execute consecutive events while handling the associated stresses and challenges.
• Can positively interact with team members and customers on a daily basis and be open to constructive criticism.
• A great attitude and great customer service skills.
• Can read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Must maintain a professional appearance, have reliable transportation, and be punctual.
• Is able to problem solve and prioritize needs while on jobsites.
• Is able to handle team dynamics, and customer service issues on a daily basis.
• Workload varies from 0-40+ hours per week based on volume and availability.

The Quest Event Installer is a customer service position, with an emphasis on reliability and determination. The responsibilities include safely loading and unloading gear from company vehicles, setting and striking drape, furniture, and hardware at event venues.

The Event Installer will be working with and as part of a team of installers. Workload varies from 0-30+ hours per week based on volume and availability. Installer will demonstrate strong leadership skills by taking the initiative, staying customer-focused, displaying a strong work ethic while on the jobsite and being able to execute consecutive events.

Under the supervision of the General Manager and Operations Manager this position's responsibilities include:

Physical Job Requirements:

• Ability to repeatedly lift 62 lbs and work on a step ladder without exceeding maximum weight allowance.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
