Role Overview:
The Event Host leads the planning and execution of EAB’s onsite partner events, owning every detail from room setup to guest experience. This role ensures a polished, welcoming environment where everything runs smoothly and partners feel genuinely cared for from arrival to departure.
Primary Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end execution of partner events hosted in EAB’s Washington, D.C. office.
- Oversee onsite logistics including catering, AV coordination, signage, transportation, and space setup.
- Create stellar first impressions and moments of wow for event attendees.
- Ensure superior service for internal and external constituencies.
- Coordinate with Facilities and vendors to maintain a polished, professional, guest‑ready environment.
- Prepare meeting rooms and event spaces per specifications – including nametags, table tents, materials, and amenities.
- Manage ground transportation logistics and track arrivals/departures for guests and speakers.
- Prepare and distribute final travel itineraries and event documents.
- Work a flexible schedule for early starts or evening events.
- Maintain a professional, calm, and service‑oriented demeanor at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree with an excellent academic record.
- Proficiency with common workplace tools such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
- Demonstrated success in delivering service internally and externally.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods during events.
- Willingness to transport items, bend, reach, and climb small ladders during setup.
- Ability to support meetings in both Richmond, VA and Washington, D.C. offices, with flexibility to travel as required by event locations.
- Some job activities may occur outside typical workdays/hours.
- Experience working in a team environment and in an office setting.

Compensation
Anticipated starting salary: $40,000 per year.
