Job summary

TAMROD is seeking outgoing, detail-oriented Event Hosts to welcome guests, manage DIY activities, and support small group demonstrations at events in the Virginia area. You’ll help with setup, food and beverage service, and ensuring a friendly, safe environment.

Ideal candidates are comfortable speaking to small groups, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Training is provided, with opportunities for tips and event bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Available to work weekends and weekday evenings.
• Previous experience in events, hospitality, retail, or customer service preferred (but not required — we’ll train the right person!).
• Ability to lift 25 lbs (for event set-up/take-down assistance).
• Food handler certification or ABC alcohol training a plus (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Setting up event materials, DIY craft stations, and food/beverage displays.
• Welcoming guests warmly and assisting them throughout the experience.
