Job summary

BLUMOON Scents in Houston invites an energetic Event Host to lead DIY candle experiences and private events. You’ll guide guests through making personalized candles, create a welcoming atmosphere, and ensure a memorable session. This role offers flexible scheduling, 2–4 sessions daily, and pay per session.

Ideal candidates enjoy hosting, connecting with people, and delivering creative, hands-on experiences. Previous hosting or customer service is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in hosting, teaching, events, customer service, or leading groups is a plus.
• Strong communication and people skills for engaging guests.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized during sessions.

Responsibilities

• Host DIY experiences, classes, and private events for individuals and groups.
• Welcome guests and create a fun, positive, and engaging atmosphere.
• Guide participants through the candle-making process from start to finish.
• Help guests select fragrances and customize their candles.
• Explain candle-making techniques and safety procedures.
• Prepare the workspace, materials, and supplies before each event.
• Keep the studio clean, organized, and ready for guests.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure guests have an unforgettable experience.

We provide a unique experience for candle lovers, craft enthusiasts, and anyone looking to enjoy a memorable activity with friends, family, and groups.

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Event Host to diy experiences, and private events. As a Party Host, you will guide guests through the diy experiences, helping them create their own personalized candles while providing a fun, welcoming, and memorable event.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hosting, connecting with people, and bringing creativity to life. It’s a flexible opportunity to earn extra income while being part of a growing and creative brand.

Compensation

• Earn $20-$30 per session/class - paid per session hosted
• 2–4 sessions available per day
• Flexible scheduling with opportunities for additional income
