Job summary

The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) is seeking a friendly Guest Service Attendant to greet attendees, help patrons find seats, and answer questions during events. You will be a visible, helpful presence at the venue, providing exceptional service and supporting event operations as needed.

This part-time role requires a professional demeanor, the ability to stand for long periods, and flexibility to work daytime, afternoon, or evening shifts, including holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of customer service experience.
• Must be able to provide exceptional customer service.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
• Must be able to stand for lengthy periods and communicate continuously.

Responsibilities

• Remain highly visible and approachable during events.
• Work with team to perform duties in a professional manner.
• Assist patrons to find seats and resolve seating issues politely.
• Assist guests with lost items when needed.
• Support other departments with light cleaning and event tasks.
• Maintain safety and security by following access control rules.
• Distribute programs and event information to patrons.
• Scan tickets at entry and exit points.
