Job summary

NASCAR's Phoenix Raceway is seeking a Facilities Operator to maintain all aspects of the track, with a focus on event preparation, track rentals and on-site activities.

You will operate equipment, communicate with vendors and contractors, hang signage, perform general maintenance and keep the grounds clean and safe.

The role requires a minimum age of 18, a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Graduate/GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Successfully pass a driving record check (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment of various types as directed by Manager of Facility Operations.
• Communicate, manage, and work directly with track vendors and contractors.
• Hang and dismantle signage, banners, etc.
• Repair tools, water lines, fences, gates, walls, walkways, buildings and perform general maintenance.
• Paint track walls, fences, concrete barriers and other facilities as directed.
