Job summary

CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring a Furniture Repair Technician in Aurora, CO to repair, restore, and refinish furniture and event equipment to show-ready condition.

The role requires 1-3 years of furniture repair experience, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and operation of pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks, all while following OSHA safety rules. Schedule varies; weekends required. Pay is $20/hour with benefits listed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of furniture repair/restoration experience preferred.
• General warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred; on-the-job certification provided.
• Physically able to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Able to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks.
• Must work with chemical-based repair and cleaning products SAFELY per OSHA regulations.
• Must pass drug screening; E-Verify participation.

Responsibilities

• Furniture Repair & Restoration: Inspect, assess, and repair damaged furniture and event equipment to restore items to show quality.
• Surface Preparation & Refinishing: Prepare surfaces for painting or refinishing; apply finishes to meet standards.
• Inventory Tracking & Management: Record and track repairable items and return repaired items to stock.
• Quality Control: Evaluate damaged items and determine repairability or replacement.
• Equipment & Supplies Management: Maintain repair equipment and supplies; ensure efficient use of resources.
