Job summary

Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas hosts NASCAR events and seeks Fire Rescue Event Staff to provide immediate response to emergencies during events, supporting safety, security and patient care for all NASCAR activities.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, fire suppression, accident stabilization, patient assessment or care, and assisting with track cleanup to reopen safely and quickly; applicants must be 18+ and able to work evenings and weekends in all weather.

Qualifications

• Experience as firefighter, EMT, paramedic, nurse or related field.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends in all weather.
• Minimum age 18.
• Reliable transportation to and from the track location.

Responsibilities

• Responding to emergency situations at events.
• Fire suppression.
• Accident / incident stabilization.
• Patient assessment and/or patient care.
• Track cleanup and ensuring the track is reopened as quickly and safely as possible.

Skills

Firefighter experience or EMT/Paramed

Independent in fast-paced environments

Excellent communication skills

Willing to work evenings/weekends

Age 18+

Reliable transportation to track

Education
