Job summary

NASCAR is seeking event staff for Fire Rescue located at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. You will respond to emergencies, perform fire suppression, stabilize incidents, and assist with patient care while helping the track reopen safely and quickly.

The role requires working evenings and weekends in all weather conditions, with at least a high school diploma and relevant field experience. Transportation to the Kansas Speedway is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience as a firefighter, EMT, paramedic, nurse, or other related field.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and in all types of weather.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Reliable transportation to and from the track location.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations at events.
• Fire suppression.
• Accident/incident stabilization.
• Patient assessment and/or patient care.
• Track cleanup and ensure the track reopens quickly and safely.
