Job summary

Bright in Torrance, CA is seeking an Event Consultant to guide clients through the rental process and coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Event Directors from inquiry to event completion.

You will respond to inquiries, review event needs, prepare quotes, and track orders and payments. This role requires weekend availability and reliable commuting to the Torrance location, with a focus on accurate records and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales, event coordination or related client-facing role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, orders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, and similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Schedule and conduct showroom appointments to review event needs and rental options.
• Recommend products for weddings, corporate events, parties, and other special occasions.
• Prepare and update rental quotes and orders in Bright's reservation system.
• Explain pricing, availability, payment requirements, and product options to clients.
• Track client orders, payments, signatures, and event deadlines.
• Communicate order details and changes with Sales, Operations, and Event Directors.
• Resolve product availability issues, order discrepancies, and client questions in a timely manner.
• Support last-minute updates and changing event needs while maintaining accurate records.
• Follow established sales and order procedures to support a smooth client experience.
