Baptist Ambulance in Oxford, MS is seeking qualified EMS personnel to provide stand-by emergency medical care and transportation at events and scenes. The role includes on-scene care, transport to hospitals and coordination with medical control under state guidelines.

Candidates must hold current state licensure, CPR certification, and ACLS/PALS or equivalents as required, plus a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Formación

• Must possess a high degree of personal integrity and responsibility.
• Currently licensed, certified or registered by the appropriate state agencies.
• CPR certification by the AHA or other appropriate organization.
• ACLS and/or PALS or other specialty certifications as required.
• Currently licensed with the appropriate level of state motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Clean driving record as approved by company vehicle liability insurer.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and use good judgment.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients, public, and medical staff while reflecting positively on the company.
• Ability to perform as team leader and team member in patient care situations.
• Ability to participate in public relations and community education functions with medical community and general public.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to emergency scenes to provide emergency medical care and transportation.
• Responds to hospitals, nursing homes and other locations to provide non-emergency medical care and transportation.
• Provides medical care and monitoring at the scene, en route to the hospital, and during transportation between facilities.
• Delivers patients to appropriate medical facilities per protocols and state guidelines.
• Reports to Field Supervisor or Operations Manager; Medical Director provides medical control on patient care and quality activities.
