Job summary

Baptist Ambulance in Columbus, MS is hiring an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to operate on ALS and BLS ambulances. This role requires a valid Mississippi driver’s license and state or national EMT certification, plus BLS and CPR credentials. The EMT will transport patients, provide basic care, and document transports per SOP.

Compensation includes paid time off, insurance options, disability coverage, a 401(k), uniforms, and tuition assistance for EMT training.

Qualifications

• Must have Mississippi Driver’s License.
• State of Mississippi EMT Certification or National Registry EMT.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• CPR certification and ability to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Functions as EMT on ALS and BLS ambulances as directed.
• Safely operates vehicle to/from pick up and drop off locations.
• Provides BLS patient care and movement.
