Job summary

Express Employment Professionals – North Portland is hiring Event/Door Security Associates to work with our client in N Portland at the Expo Center. These are temporary, event-based positions. Qualified candidates have the ability to work safely and efficiently and must be comfortable directing incoming and outgoing foot traffic.

These positions will require associates to speak with the general public and stand for the majority of the shift. Pay is $16–18 per hour with a varying schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate with the public effectively.
• At least 6 months of recent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming and outgoing foot traffic.
• Ensure no public entry through designated doors.
• Talk to visitors, answer questions and/or direct visitors to the appropriate contact.
• Ability to direct people to the correct location after training.
• Stand for the majority of the shift.
