Job summary

Carolina Core FC in High Point, NC is seeking matchday operations staff for 2027 season. This role is part-time, seasonal, and paid on event days, with work on weekends and game days as needed.

Responsibilities include assisting with event setup and teardown, coordinating game-day staff and volunteers, and supporting the operations leadership. Applicants must be local to the High Point area and available for most events.

Qualifications

• Must be located in or near High Point NC; housing is not provided.
• Passion for soccer and interest in sports management/operations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer service mindset for fan-facing duties.
• Ability to work weekends, late nights and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors.

• Help coordinate game-day staff, vendors and volunteers.
• Organize and maintain inventory of operations supplies and gear.
• Assist the Merchandise Department with setup on game days.
• Provide general support to the VP of Operations/Operations Manager and front office staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Event Operations– Carolina Core FC (MLS NEXT Pro)

Location: High Point, NC

Position Type: Part-Time, Seasonal, Paid on Event Days, Event staff

Duration: January – May 2027

Reports to: Vice President of Operations/Operations Manager

Overview

The Carolina Core FC Matchday Operations Team plays a pivotal role in representing Carolina Core throughout a diverse range of consumer engagements, encompassing home matches at Truist Point as well as other sporting events and stadium events. Through enthusiastic fan engagement, our team is dedicated to creating enduring and remarkable experiences for Carolina Core FC supporters across the Triad region, ensuring a memorable time at each event. During home matches, team members will actively contribute to match/game operations and partner activation initiatives, working under the supervision of the operations manager and vice president of operations.

Applicants must be available for 90% of events to be eligible.

This position is seasonal, part-time event staff, aligned with the 2026 club match schedule. Work hours are determined on an as-needed, event-by-event basis, with no guaranteed weekly minimum.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation

• Hourly pay provided for all events worked, in addition to set-up/tear-down days worked
