Colorado Mesa University is seeking an Event Crew member for Grand Junction. You will perform prompt customer service, set up event spaces, and assist with daily operations, including basic A/V support.

This part-time role requires flexibility across mornings, evenings, weekends, and special events. You will work with the Event and Hospitality Department to ensure clean, organized spaces and professional presentation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service to guests, clients, and University staff.
  • Complete daily event setups, including tables, chairs, staging, furniture, podiums, and other event equipment.
  • Interpret room diagrams and arrange event spaces to match layouts.
  • Assist with daily event operations and prepare spaces for scheduled events.
  • Provide basic audio-visual setup support and operate AV equipment under supervision.
  • Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of spaces and equipment areas.
  • Inspect setups and report facility or safety issues to supervisors.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate dress code.
