Fooda is hiring an on-site part-time Events Specialist in Atlanta. You will support events, set up and tear down, troubleshoot POS and TV menus, and deliver exceptional customer service during lunch hours. You’ll learn Fooda’s technology and SOPs, resolve order issues, and escalate when needed.

This role offers 20–25 hours per week with potential for advancement and free food benefits. Join a fast-paced startup environment and help expand a workplace food program loved by employees.

• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Onsite support for Fooda events: setup, teardown, cleaning, problem-solving, and ensuring high-quality setup and customer experience.
• Learn Fooda’s technology and standard operating procedures.
• Resolve issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, or miscommunication via email or in-person.
• Troubleshoot POS, onsite technology, and TV menu boards.
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching.
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues with consumers.
• Audit restaurant event set-ups to ensure consistency and quality.
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when needed to keep stakeholders informed.
• Work hours primarily during lunch (roughly 9 am–3 pm) with possible 8 am–4 pm shifts depending on market.

Who We Are:
Our story began in 2011 when a group of office workers at a major logistics company in Chicago had a lunch problem. Nearby options were limited,and the team was spending too much time and money traveling to their favorite restaurants. They had an idea: bring Chicago’s local restaurant culture inside the office to sell food. It was an immediate hit. When they discovered people from other companies sneaking into their office, they knew they were on to something.
Fooda pioneered the concept of rotating popup restaurants inside offices. Today, we operate in 60 cities with over 100 million meals served and continue to grow rapidly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Critical hours are over lunch Monday - Friday (9 am – 3 pm) but responsibilities may span 8am-4pm, depending on the market and need

• You’re someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car
• You’re looking for a steady part-time job (between 20 - 25 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
