Atlanta, GA Campus
Coordinate arrangements for holding meetings, gatherings or other events on behalf of a campus unit or office. Responsible for scheduling and planning the event, reserving a location, arranging for support services and follow-up. Events range from small to large scale, are both internal and external facing and utilize unit based facilities and other locations, on and off campus. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Unit management and staff and event sponsors, vendors. This position typically will advise and counsel: event sponsors, vendors. This position will supervise: NA.
Educational Requirements High school diploma, GED certificate, or Vocational School Diploma
Required Experience Four to five years of job-related experience

Salary Range: $49,308.00 - $67,058.00 commensurate with qualifications
ABILITIES Ability to connect with an online audience and an innovative, unconventional approach. Ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments. Ability to design workflows and establish effective processes. Proficiency in visual communications. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask and manage projects with competing deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with digital marketing tools e.g. social media.
KNOWLEDGE Management principles and practices for people and vendors, project management skills, event management best practices, graphic design, brand identity standards and visual style, digital marketing channels and tools.
SKILLS This job requires working knowledge and skills in event management. This includes skills in customer service, organizing, planning and scheduling. Use of business related computer applications is required.
