Job summary

I’m working with a highly regarded, sophisticated midsize law firm on an exciting opportunity supporting its Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) and Intellectual Property (IP) practices.

The ECVC practice works with startups, emerging companies and venture capital clients, while the IP practice supports clients around their valuable technology and intellectual property. Together, these are some of the firm's most dynamic, fast-paced practices.

This is a unique opportunity for an event professional who loves high-touch client events, hospitality and creating exceptional experiences. The role will focus heavily on producing a recurring series of client dinners across multiple cities, attended by hundreds of clients and contacts throughout the year.

• Wine-focused client dinners & events
• Some travel throughout NYC/NJ + occasional Bay Area travel
• Work closely with attorneys, clients, vendors and senior leadership
• Own invitations, guest lists, RSVPs, CRM tracking and event logistics

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of event planning, hospitality, executive support or related experience, exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, polished communication skills and the ability to anticipate and solve problems before they arise.

Knowledge of wine, wine service and fine dining is a major plus.
