The City of New York is looking for an Event Coordinator to manage logistics for various events, ensuring safety and adherence to regulations. The Office of Special Events is seeking to hire an Event Coordinator who will be responsible for a set number of events and film shoots per month. They will be responsible for the following:
The Event Coordinators will be required to respond to internal and external inquiries via email/phone in a timely manner; create maps, conduct conflict analysis, data entry, maintain and oversee office databases and construction coordination.

Minimum Qualifications
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community-centered activities related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community-centered activities related to the duties described above; or
3. Education and/or experience equivalent to "1" or "2" above, with at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
