Job summary

KC Live! is seeking Event Staff to warmly greet guests, verify tickets, and assist attendees at the entrance and throughout the venue. You will support security and venue operations, ensuring smooth event flow during performances and special events.

The role requires standing and walking for long periods, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and effective communication in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Evening and weekend shifts are common.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to stand and walk for 8+ hours.
• Must be able to carry/lift items up to 25 lbs.
• At least 1 year of experience with cash handling.
• Must communicate professionally in a high-energy guest service environment.
• Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at entrance with a friendly demeanor and assist throughout the venue.
• Scan tickets or passes to verify entry and assist guests with directions and event information.
• Support venue staff during setup, events, and breakdowns as needed.
• Perform other tasks as requested by management.
