Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Concessions Supervisor in North Charleston, SC to lead on-site concessions during events. You will ensure fast, friendly service, safety, and adherence to standards across stands, kiosks, and portable outlets.

The role includes staffing, training, inventory awareness, and guest issue resolution. It offers a part-time schedule with varied shifts and opportunities for growth, with competitive pay and benefits as described by the venue.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• 2–4 years of concessions, food service, or event-based operations experience.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to supervise alcohol sales per local/state regulations.
• Must maintain a valid alcohol-service certification (TIPS/TEAM or equivalent).
• A food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee concession stands, kiosks, portable locations, and walk-out or autonomous retail stores as applicable.
• Assign staff to concession locations and adjust coverage based on volume and operational needs.
• Conduct pre-event or pre-shift briefings to review expectations, menus, service standards, and assignments.
• Address guest concerns promptly and elevate issues to management as needed.
• Support onboarding and training of concession staff and leads.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, speed of service, and policy compliance.
• Lift and move up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time and with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts based on client requirements.
